Robert M. Biagiotti, Esq.
Mr. Biagiotti was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, on March 5, 1948. He was admitted to the Bar in 1974, and is admitted to practice in the courts of the State of New Jersey and U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey; U.S. Supreme Court and U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit. Mr. Biagiotti is AV rated by Martindale – Hubbell Peer Review Rating, which is given only to lawyers practicing law at the highest levels of legal ability and ethical standards.Mr. Biagiotti received his undergraduate degree from Seton Hall University in 1970 (B.S.). He obtained his law degree from New York Law School in New York City in 1974 (J.D.). He served as a Law Clerk to The Honorable Benedict E. Lucchi from 1973 to 1974.
Mr. Biagiotti has served as the Public Defender for the Borough of Leonia. He has represented the Village of Ridgefield Park, Borough of Leonia, Borough of Ho-Ho-Kus, City of Hackensack and the Borough of Cliffside Park as Special Counsel.
Mr. Biagiotti has served as a four year member and Chairperson of the Supreme Court of New Jersey District IIA Ethics Committee.
Mr. Biagiotti has been appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to the Bergen County District IIB Fee Arbitration Committee for a four year term.
Mr. Biagiotti is a member of the American Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association and the New York Law School Alumni Association. He is also a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey.
Mr. Biagiotti focuses in the areas of Criminal Law in the State and Federal Courts and Municipal Court Law, including traffic offenses, DUI and drug cases.
William J. Galda, Esq.
Mr. Galda was born in Newark, New Jersey, on August 13, 1956. He was admitted to the Bar in 1985, and is admitted to practice in the courts of the State of New Jersey, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Mr. Galda received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from St. Michael’s College in Winooski Park, Vermont, in 1978. He obtained his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Widener University Delaware Law School in 1985. He served as a law clerk to the Honorable James F. Madden, J.S.C. from 1985 to 1986.
In 1986, Mr. Galda was hired by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office. He was assigned to various areas of the office, and served as the Assistant Chief and the Chief Prosecutor in the Grand Jury Division. In 2002 Mr. Galda was sworn in as the First Assistant Prosecutor, a position he held until his retirement from the Prosecutor’s Office in 2011 after 25 years of service. As First Assistant Prosecutor, Mr. Galda supervised a staff of over 50 attorneys, additionally he was responsible for managing many areas of the office, which employs over 250 people, consisting of law enforcement personnel and clerical staff. He also served as the acting Prosecutor on numerous occasions whenever the prosecutor was out of the State of New Jersey. Mr. Galda taught Criminal Evidence as an adjunct professor at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, New York, and has also taught for the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice and for newly admitted attorneys in the State of New Jersey.
Mr. Galda is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association and the Bergen County Bar Association.
